Thodoris Theodoroudis



Born in 2000 in Athens, Greece, Thodoris Theodoroudis studied guitar with Elena Papandreou since he was 8 years old. He obtained his diploma degree in 2017 at Orion Conservatory.
Alongside guitar, he studies composition with Ilias Nikolaidis.


He participated in many masterclasses with some of the greatest soloists, for example: Oscar Ghiglia, Roland Dyens, Gabriel Bianco, Marco Tamayo, Suzanna Prieto, Jerry Willard and Alexis Mouzourakis.


He has received 15 prizes in guitar competitions all over Europe, with 8 1st prizes among them.
Some of the most important prizes are:

1st prize in the International Competition Nikita Koshkin for young guitarists (2021)

1st prize in the Patras International Guitar Festival (2019)

2nd prize in the Antwerp Guitar Festival (2021)

2nd prize in the “Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano” in Italy (2017).
He has also received prizes in the following composition competitions:

An Art Artistry (Greece 2017), with the piece “The Sky Wasn’t” for solo guitar

Dutch Guitar Foundation (Netherlands 2022), with the piece “Images from a Sea” for
solo guitar

9ος Composition Competition “Dimitris Dragatakis (Greece 2022), with the piece
“The Chase” for solo viola (3rd prize).


Many soloists have played his pieces, for example: Kristina Varlid, Emilie Fend, Fotis Koutsothodoros and Smaro Grigoriadou (guitar), Lefki Kolovou (cello), Patricia Arenas Menendez (piano) and the “L’Anima” string quartet.


Thodoris has done recitals in many greek cities and in some of the most important concert halls (Athens’ Megaron Hall and Thessaloniki’s Megaron Hall).
