12th Palaio Faliro Guitar festival

Chrysostomos Tzevelekos
Chrysostomos Tzevelekos was born in 20/12/2004 in Serres, Greece.He started learning guitar at the age of eleven with private lessons. He is a graduate of Music High School in Serres. At the age of fourteen he succeeded his admission to the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, Greece, in the classical guitar class of Thanos Mitsalas, where he is studying now in the diploma class. In June 2024 he will take the diploma exams.
He has won numerous awards in pan-hellenic and international competitions, among which we mention the following: Muse International Music Competition 2021(First Prize ), Tryavna Art Festival 2021 (First Prize), 7th Pleven Guitar Festival (Second Prize), III Tassos Pappas Competition 2021(First Prize), XI Palaio Faliro Guitar Festival 2023 (Open Category) - (First Prize), VI Competition ''Orpheus Soloists'' 2023 (First Prize), Guitar Feasts 2023 (Open Category) - (First Prize).
Chrysostomos has participated in the following summer academies:
–Volterra Project Guitar 2021(professor Antigoni Goni)
–Le anime della chitarra 2022 (professor Tilman Hoppstock)
–MusicAlp -Tignes 2022 (professor Judicael Perroy)
He won a scholarship to participate at the Guitar Course in France/Guitar course at Château Celon 2024
He has performed in Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and in Thessaloniki Music Hall at the event ''New Talents of Classical Music''.He has participated in chamber music ensembles and the orchestra of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki in the opera “Abu Hassan”.
He has also attended numerus masterclasses with world famous guitarists:
Odair Assad, Aniello Desiderio, Alfred Eickholt, Judicael Perroy, Tilman Hoppstock, Marcin Dylla, Zoran Dukic, Kostas Tosidis, Michalis Kontaxakis, Fotis Koutsothodoros, Anton Baranov, Antigoni Goni, Alexis Mouzourakis, Susana Prieto, Giampaolo Bandini, Smaro Gregoriadou, Dimitris Kotronakis, Marco Tamayo, Pavel Steidl, Manek Pasieczny, Carlo Marchione.
